new challenges...

theres so many great challenges going on this month!!! this first layout is for scrappy jos challenge! we have to pick to sketchs to lift and the winner gets a 10$gc to the store!!! I got my first lift done and here is the sketch and my layout:


It was first time doing paper pleats. It was a bit of a challenge, I did get it tho! Im not sure yet If I like that look!

the second challenge was for nerdy victorious scrapbookers! the challenge was to lift this collage:

(funny story...I dislike the color red! alot! which is wht its so funny that I made this layout sunday night! monday when I got online I saw the collage! the same colors! I couldnt believe it!) so heres the layout I did:

the prize for this challenge gets bigger depending on the followers! so go be a follower ladies!!!
The prize?
As of now the prize will be $20 worth of scrapbooking product from the headmistress' stash.
However, IF we get 75+ NVS Followers before the due date we will raise the prize to $25 worth of scrapbooking stash. 80+ = $30, 85+ = $35, 90+ = $40, 95+ = $45 and 100+ = $50.

KITS

So ladies awhile back I had some kits on here for sale. Most of them sold fairly well.
I would like to have some kits on here again!
I would like to offer kits that are jam packed yet no more than 25$.
I want to offer kits that you ladies will enjoy and want to buy with only name brand products from top stores.
If you have a minute could you please copy and paste this questionare into a email to me, letting me know your thoughts and opinions on the kits.
please spread the word about this to your friends and have them do the questions also.

1-what are your top brands you would prefer?

2-would you like to specailty items in the kits, such as stickles, paints, inks? If so, what things.

3-what is your scrapping style, vintage, romantic, funky....

4-would you like to see trims and not just ribbon?

5-favorite type of embellies to use? such as flowers, bling, buttons...

6-this would not be a kit club, it would always be first come first serve. no commitments. what are your thoughts on this?

7-are you in the usa or out of the country?

8-would you want cardstock in the kits or just pattern paper?

9-have you purchased kits online before, if so what you like and/or dislike about it?

10-would like alterable items to be included, such as blank frames, mirrors, tiny boxes, mini books, etc?

here is this vintage inspired mirror I have been working on.

today I would like to share with you a layout I made for my fabulous friend renee!
lots of pink and green on here. the cirles are all popped with pop dots. the leaves were origionally this ugly mustard color but with some turquoise glimmer mist they now match perfectly! lots of bling and love! and I just love this pic of renee and her hubby! adorable!

good morning ladies!
So the viking lost! what can you say! we played a good hard tight game for most of it!
theres always next year right!

I would like to share with you my newest layout! I worked on this yesterday! the shells are from Lake George which is where we take kona cause its a very shallow lake, SHe go far out without us fearing for her lol! (even though she probably swims better than both of us)
This was one of those days and here is Kona with Valdo playing fetch in the water! Kona just loves it she never wants to go home lol!

the shells were soaked for a few days in bleach and then dried out. the papers are dream street I just love the canvas feel to them they are my new favoites texture wise! the blue mesh is drywall tape you can purchase at any hardware store!


This is the last bom post for this month, starting in febuary I will only post them once a month!
